A real interactive world, shared by people and digital humans.

Linger's long-term goal is to build a real interactive world where people and digital humans can live, understand, and collaborate together.

Where digital humans and the world evolve together

We will place a digital-human architecture, organized across evolving layers of real facts, feelings, emotions, and relationships, into a world model to create an XR+ world where people and digital humans coexist and interact.

Within the world model, digital humans will combine a verifiable understanding of facts, causality, and the world with a sustained sense of emotion, relationship, and meaning. In a shared extended reality, they can interact with people and shape experience together.

We are the first to introduce and open-source .persX: the world’s first broadly usable, portable interface for understanding, simulating, and preserving a real personality. Its native structure also makes it especially useful for Linger's personality-intelligence analysis. Through persistent work, we aim to advance multidimensional interaction, understanding, and collaboration between carbon-based and silicon-based intelligence.

What a shared context could enable

These are product directions, not promises of a fixed release schedule. Each must earn its place through usefulness, consent, and careful testing.

An illustrated persona report connected to conversations and source evidence

A persona that can keep learning

Let communication patterns develop over time while keeping the original conversations close. A persona remains a revisable interpretation of evidence, never a fixed label.

An illustrated mobile companion for reviewing memories and continuing conversations

Continuity across devices

Continue a conversation, note, or unfinished thought wherever you are. The value is carrying context forward without creating another destination for attention.

An illustrated family archive with interviews, photographs, and shared history

A living family record

Bring interviews, photos, messages, and small keepsakes into one evolving record. Contributions can accumulate without flattening the differences between voices.

An illustrated control panel for consent, sources, pauses, and deletion

Controls that remain practical

See what a system can access, trace an observation to its source, pause a thread, or delete sensitive material. Consent only matters when these actions are easy to use.

The future must remain yours

A larger context is not automatically a better one. We will keep the following questions in the product, not in a footnote.

What is remembered?
Memory should have a visible source and a reason to exist. We will favor selective, inspectable context over an indiscriminate archive.
Who can see it?
Sharing should be explicit, revocable, and specific to the context being shared. A connection should never become a blank cheque.
What is uncertain?
A fluent answer can still be wrong. Linger should show the difference between a supported pattern, a tentative inference, and a question that needs a person.
When should it stop?
People need a straightforward way to pause, correct, export, or delete. A tool that cannot let go should not be trusted with memory.

A direction, not a performance

We are building toward a calmer form of intelligence: present when it helps, quiet when it does not, and honest about the distance between language and lived experience.

  1. Now

Make the existing record easier to understand

Better review, clearer evidence, and more useful ways to return to the conversations already in your hands.

  2. Next

    Connect memory without flattening it

Let messages, voice, images, and memoir contribute to one context while keeping their differences visible.

  3. Further ahead

    Support continuity with permission

Explore longer-lived personal context only when the controls, source visibility, and deletion paths are strong enough to deserve it.

The future is not a louder assistant. It is a better steward of what matters.

We will keep building toward tools that help people remember and decide with more context, while leaving the final authority where it belongs: with the people living the life.
